Please budding psychic photographers learn from the photographers of the past and write everything down as and when you take the photos of Mediums and Mediumistic happenings. The reason for this is, the human memory is not infallible and if you don't to this at the time, you will forget minor DETAILS that might be relevant for other people in the future. Try to put down as much information as is possible about the situation.

Number your photographs in sequence so you will remember what information goes with what photograph, this might seem so simple, but you will be surprise at how much confusion can be avoided if this simple format is followed.

I have seen some weird and wonderful photographs shown as being psychic phenomena when they are clearly not, later on I will try to place some on here as examples.

I would like to thank all who are sending me information and photographs, it helps not only me but other people to understand and think and that is my main aim, not monetary gain.

If you are going to try your hand at helping the Spirit World prove there is life after death by showing your evidence to the public at large, then make sure you cover every avenue so the sceptics do not have a field day.

Make sure the photographs are in focus. I have seen a present day Medium's photographs where some were clearly not in focus, and this is in her published late1990s booklet.

Make sure the background is in focus, try testing the camera set up a few times before the main shot as an example.

Use a tripod whenever possible a good result is nearly always achieved without any camera shake.

Put down the distance from the subject and the background.

Put down if the camera is being use in time lapse mode and by how much. (e.g. 30 seconds, 1 minute etc.), put down shutter speed used.

Put what sort of a camera [make and model], its lens [make and model] also the make and model of flash if used; if white light or infra red; whether hand held, attached to camera, and if placed away from the camera and how many cameras used; saying where and how they were deployed in the action.

If cable release was used.

If used, put down what sort of film was used, also the speed [ASA or ISO]. When it was purchased and where from? 

Give details of where the film was developed,  by whom and by which method.

Whether a digital camera was used and what pixilation used. If so put down all the modes used, giving details of camera, lens and shutter speed, lighting, if zoom was used and what strength.

Was any computer software used or was the photograph enhanced or adjusted in any way. Say if so, how, why, and the name the software and/or the method used.

If enhancement was used. Was it in the camera, post printing. or with the printer, if so name and give details.

Say if the camera is being hand held, on a monopod, on a tripod or was it placed on something. [a Joby Gorillapod is useful for standing on a desk, in awkard positions, or to wrap one of the legs around an object, etc.].

If a monopod, a tripod or the camera was placed on something and has anti-shake available, disable it, as the camera might try to compensate for the none shake.

Put down the conditions at the time and everything you can think of, e.g. temperature and humidity if available.

Whether indoor or outdoor, the weather conditions, time of day.

Whether the photograph was taken in daylight, in open or enclosed space [describe], red light, white light, blue light; whether a flash was use and what sort of flash, and lighting. [for the safety of the Medium always ask Spirit [and/or Medium] before using any lights and especially flash photography, and I mean the Spirit World, NOT ANY OF THE SITTERS].

Describe what was happening before, during and after the photograph was taken. There and around the incident.

Were there any witnesses, and is there evidence of that.  e.g. signed statements, photographic evidence, date and time impregnated at the time on the original photograph as on modern cameras, use this for every photograph if available] and anything else you can think of.

Was there a Medium present. Name all there present and if any, the Mediums name.

If there was a Medium how long had they been sitting before the photograph was taken. How long had they been developing as a Medium, and how long had they been developing for this type of phenomena.

Was the Spirit Worlds permission asked for before the photograph was taken , if so by what method and how.

Was the Photograph experimental, not pre-arranged, accidental, or deliberate.

Record any other instruments used at the event and their outcome.

I have just recently found out that there are now on the market "cheap automatic infra red cameras" that can detect movement and they start off from about £80 pounds sterling. Look for "Trail Cameras", "Game Cameras" and "Wild Game Innovations" on somewhere like Amazon. I would love to place your results on my photographic pages for everyone to see. As well as the photograph, remember to send also all the details of where, when, why who and how please. Cheap, small tripods, similar to a gorilla tripod [but legs are made out of stiff alloy] can be bought in most £1 pound shops, but are not for the very large cameras..

Helen Duncan Physical Medium An old man produced by Helen Duncan through the help of one of her guides Albert Stewart. AFTER permission was given by the Spirit Guide [NOT by ONE of the sitters] looking after Helen, this photograph was taken by an infra red  flash Light. Notice in the picture the part of the ectoplasm that attaches to the Medium like an umbilical cord is at the side of the head of the materialised form, notice also the difference of the ectoplasm, some has become transparent. [Looking at the photograph, on the left hand side along the edge].

Katie King Guide of Florence Cook. There are many such photographs of Katie in many publications. There were some doubts as to whether this was Florence Cook herself. No matter, I have placed them on here because there were many scientific testers who testified to the authenticity of the formation of the Spirit Katie King.

Katie King again just on the edge of the outside of the Circle of sitters.

Florence Cook in trance had slipped off the chair onto the floor while the Spirit World produced through her the formation of ectoplasm which eventually became the full materialisation of Katie King.

For me a lot of harm has been done by a well meaning person, Baron Von Schrenck Notzing, who must have had the money to have photographs produced by himself and others at the beginning of photography. If looked at closely, it can be seen that the photographs the Baron has printed are of a doctored setup of the Medium Eva C, some of them being altered, one noticeably is one of a nude Eva C. where her breasts have been wiped, also on some it can be seen clearly that the staged portraits are with a folded up paper cut out of the purported Spirit Forms. The folds in the paper are very noticeable in many of the photographs, I hope I can scan them in clearly to show you on here, all, or some of the examples I am talking about.

I hope to place on this web site many of the 217 scanned images of the photographs that I am talking about from the book which I have in my possession, "Phenomena of Materialisation" by Baron Von Schrenck Notzing; 1923. I personally think he was trying to show what happens when the phenomena he had seen is produced, and he has undone the good work of other Mediums and especially that of Eva C.
