Ectoplasm coming from the area of the ears of a unknown sitter.

This photograph was taken in March 1979 by Gladys Hayter
of London, England, who was taking a picture of her daughter (sitting in the
front seat) in her new car and when the picture was developed the head of a
young, blonde girl appeared to be sitting in the back seat. Medium Leslie Flint
then found that the little girl was a frequent visitor to the home. The second
close up picture clearly shows the young girl (circled).

1922.
Photograph by Ada Emma Deane of two ladies, spirit extra and ectoplasm forming
above the two of them.
At first I thought the section of the photograph; on the left had, had another
image of that lady placed on top of the person, BUT, the necklaces are different
and the knitted jumper is different as well not having a square top at the neck
line.
The line down the middle is from the folding of the original photograph.

From a Gelatin silver photograph,1922.
Gelatin silver prints are the most usual means
of making black and white prints from negatives. They are papers coated with a
layer of gelatin, which contains light sensitive silver salts. They were
developed in the 1870's and by 1895 had generally replaced albumen prints
because they were more stable, did not turn yellow and were simpler to produce.
Gelatin silver prints remain the standard black and white print type.

Unknown sitters with a spirit extra to
the rear on the right.
