Wax impressions made by the Spirit World in seances in Brazil. The hardened wax casts were later filled with plaster and allowed to harden.

The solid paraffin wax was heated into a liquid form, which was in the room when the seance was under way.

Notice the wrists of the hands and the ankle of the foot cast are far smaller than the hand or foot also look at some of the fingers that are clenched, that would mean the only way of extraction for the Spirit World, they would have dissolved to extract them, rather than be pulled out causing the wax mould to be destroyed or at least distorted.

Gloves and flowers obtained in one of the seances held with Mr. Joao Alfredo de Mendonca and produced at the request of the Spirit, one of the establishments of Rua Conselheiro Joao Alfredo, one of the most popular of Bethlehem, Brazil.

After few days exposed to the public, this model, which, like others, was hollow, was cast to play the conformation inside. This operation was done in the same establishment "The Brazilian", and operator Dr. Nilo Pena and others who were there by chance.

From the wax mould a model in plaster was made.

It is one of the most perfect models obtained. It distinguishes itself perfectly well the whole fabric of the epidermis. We believe that this work was in paraffin, which strongly impressed Dr. Nilo Pena, led him to attend some sessions of Mrs.  Prado, which, as we said, keep the deepest impression.

A Spirit foot made originally from being dipped into molten wax then allowed to harden. The Spirit form dissipated at that point, then at the end of the seance, the wax mould was filled with plaster and the wax when heated up, dissolved and this is what was left, a Spirit foot replica.

The glove had obtained the finger jewellery in question, keeping the role perfectly. Palm View.

But the plaster dissolved the paraffin glove, the new model kept the ring as it appears in the photograph.

It would be possible to withdraw the hand that produced similar model, world as everyone else, and are thus entirely closed, without breaking it?  Please take note of the narrowness of the wrist toward the body of the hand.
