Queenie Nixon during her transfigurations, the Spirit displaying themselves often spoke. It seems that Queenie was in a deep trance state. All her seances were done in dimmed red light, which was shone directly onto her face from a distance, and photographs were often allowed to be taken. It looks like no flash was used as was the photograph below of Chan, Jean Skinners Spirit Guide.

A Seance in which Queenie Nixon is materialising a Spirit Form in a low red light seance while sitting in a black cabinet, the Spirit face is above and to the rear of the Medium, more into the darkness of the cabinet being shown up better because of the black mat paint that had been use on the inside of the cabinet.

THE TRANSFIGURATION OF JEAN SKINNER.
Jean Skinner before and normal in the photograph on the left, on the right is her being transfigured. The Spirit World has placed a mask of her Spirit Guide Chan, onto her face before and as she speaks. The strangest things in some of these seances is, some people can see this formation on the Medium others cannot, that has always puzzled me; WHY does that happen ? This is where the taking of photographs is such a must do. Even then some of the Spirit forms people see during the seance do not get transferred to the photographic imaging medium. WHY does that happen ?

A Seance in Bologna in the year of 1935, where the Spirit World are showing the control and the energy they can produce to de-materialisation a Medium. After the Seance the Medium after an hour or so was more or less recovered. It can take a great many hours to fully recover from this sort of physical phenomena exerted on the human body. Generally, after any seance the Medium has something sweet and warm to eat and drink and generally quietly relaxes, as should the sitters of the Circle, especially a drink of something as the Spirit World has to use a lot of water from the Medium and the Sitters. This applies to any Physical Circle. For many Physical Mediums the effect can last up to 3-4 hours.

Materialisation of the Spirit Ana, in 14 December 1953, where the Medium Peixotinho of Brazil can be seen in Trance laid on the bed. This Medium carried out experiments at the home of Francisco Candido Xavier allowing, through his mediumship in the main, close friends of the sitters in the seance to materialise.
