The precipitation of the object was often heralded by a spasmodic seizure of the Medium. Sometimes she cried out in agony. Fabian Rossi, in a seance on May 20, 1929, in Genoa, Italy, in which two small stones were apported, complained of great pains after she regained consciousness and said that she had been crushed between two enormous stones. At the time of this statement she did not know the nature of the apported objects
