Clara Germana Cele Medium
In 1906 Clara Germana Cele, a sixteen year-old school girl from South Africa, who was said by the Christian churches to be possessed by the devil. She would be raised up five feet in the air, sometimes vertically and sometimes horizontally. When sprinkled with holy water she came gently out of these trance states of alleged possession.
